We’ve been in the middle of virtual conference season here at ACCESS, recently having sponsored the Campaigns & Elections’ 2020 Creative Summit, as well as attended the Public Affairs Council’s Digital Media & Advocacy Summit, among other events.

What we heard time and again—both from experts in the field and companies sharing success stories—is the same thing we’ve been telling clients for months.

Now is the time for trial and error.

COVID-19 has impacted how every industry conducts business, and it’s the same when it comes to engaging your members—whether through advocacy or a PAC. You have to rethink how you’re engaging audiences to ensure you’re meeting them where they are.

Beyond the pandemic, 2020 has seen more than its share of political upheaval—meaning there are simply a LOT of issues competing for attention in an already jam-packed election year.
